2008 Youth Producers Premiere Their Work

Five Producers graduated from the Youth Producer Training Program in June, and premiered their work to an impressed audience at a gallery in San Francisco. One of the most exciting moments was when Robert performed his story live. —Ed.

Pushing aside his overpowering fear of public presentations, Robert gave a charmingly quaky rendition of his unedited piece to the captivated audience at the Meridian Gallery OutLoud showcase. Though still frightened of public scrutiny, Robert reports being far less awkward in Econ presentations after this affecting experience. Overwhelming fear aside, Robert was super dooper happy excited about the public reaction to his piece. However, ten or fifteen compliments later, his head still wasn't big enough to munch its way through the Banana Nut muffin cornucopia at the snack table.
